I’m still buzzing—we just booked our tickets to Japan!
My friend Camilla and I are heading there for a couple of weeks in March and April, timed in the hope of catching hanami, the cherry blossom season everyone raves about. We’ll be staying at her cousin’s flat right in the heart of Tokyo, which already feels like the perfect home base for exploring.
It’s going to be a completely different world from anything I know, and honestly, that’s exactly the point. Having a trip like this to dream about makes the everyday feel lighter. Until then, I’ll be getting my fix scrolling through old photos from Japan on Flickr, letting the anticipation build.
